I took a movie of it as well but our stupid computer won't upload it. The deer hung around for a couple of minutes and kept looking over at us because it could hear the girls squealing and talking about it. It was about to start munching on our neighbor's garden when something startled it and it took off for the woods.

Once the novelty runs out on these furry creatures eating everything in sight (including the fig tree your children may buy you for Father's Day).... contact my sons. They made a "Red Ryder Bottle Rocket Gun" for Chris for Christmas last year.
To echo Karen ... the sweet look is replaced by the insatiable appetite and your whole opinion of "Bambi" changes ! We now plant according to what they do not like which is very little even in the flora category !
